Alan Brazil stunned by transfer rumour he’s heard involving Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with Conor Gallagher in recent months and speculation persists ahead of the summer transfer window.
For instance, recently reported that Tottenham could make an early bid for the Chelsea midfielder to test the waters.
According to the report, the Blues valued Gallagher at around £60million in January, which proved a put-off for potential suitors.
The reported Tottenham target’s contract runs until 2025, and if an extension isn’t agreed by this summer, the asking price could potentially drop to £50million.
Speculation linking Gallagher with a departure to Chelsea and switch to Spurs has baffled many fans and pundits, considering how good a player he is for the Blues.
TalkSPORT presenter Alan Brazil admits he doesn’t understand why they would let the 23-year-old go, saying he’s a “perfect” motivator on the pitch.
