Alan Brazil claims Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa is perfect for Celtic
Alan Brazil that Marcelo Bielsa would be his dream appointment at Celtic, but admitted that there is no chance of the Leeds United boss leaving for Parkhead.
The Hoops are looking for Neil Lennon’s permanent successor following his departure earlier this week. It comes with Celtic needing the most outrageous of ends to the season to win their 10th league title in a row.

It is not going to be an easy job for his successor. The Bhoys seem to have taken several steps backwards in recent months. And getting the next appointment right is going to be crucial if they want to reassert their dominance in Scottish football in the near future.
Unfortunately for Brazil, his ideal candidate is one he cannot see Celtic having any chance of landing.

“You know who I would love to come in? It’s not going to happen, for me it’s the Celtic way… Bielsa,” .
“I’d love someone like him to come up there and get them buzzing, playing free-flowing football, chasing every ball and harrying, but that’s not going to happen.”
As Brazil notes, there looks to be absolutely no chance of Celtic appointing Bielsa anytime soon. In fact, it seems so unlikely, that it appears difficult to imagine the Hoops hierarchy will even mention his name when they discuss their most ambitious targets.
Bielsa has done an incredible job at Leeds. And there is a feeling that the Whites are yet to reach their ceiling with the Argentinian in charge.
He also confirmed earlier this week that he will not consider any other opportunities while at Leeds (via ).
So it certainly seems fair to say that there is very little going for this suggestion – if we are being kind.
