Alan Brazil cannot believe what Mauricio Pochettino has said about Tottenham
Alan Brazil cannot believe that Mauricio Pochettino has said that Tottenham Hotspur will not spend any money in the January transfer window,
Tottenham have started the campaign in appalling form, winning just three of eight league games. They have already been knocked out of the Carabao Cup, and picked up just one point from two Champions League outings.
“No, I don’t believe [there will be changes in January],” Pochettino said, when asked if they would spend in January – . “I believe in the players we have. If it is my decision, I am going to stick with the players.”
Former Tottenham star and TalkSPORT host Brazil has shown just how stunned he is by Pochettino’s comments, by describing the ongoings at Spurs as ‘poor’ and that they have to sell some of their dead weight – and bring some new faces to north London.
“I just don’t get this, I really don’t,” . “I don’t care whose decision it is, that’s poor. Tottenham have to march on. They have to march on. They have to bring in, and get rid. That’s not good news for Tottenham fans.”

TBR’s view – Tottenham need new signings, Brazil is right
Brazil is known for his outspoken views on things but to be fair to the TalkSPORT host, he is absolutely spot on with his comments about Pochettino and Tottenham’s January transfer window.
Spurs need a new centre-back, as Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen look past it. Serge Aurier is not good enough to start at right-back, Christian Eriksen’s head is elsewhere and Harry Kane needs back-up.
January is crucial for Spurs, but signing no players is a huge blow.
