‘Ain’t getting enough stick’… Ian Wright says two Chelsea players deserve more criticism
Ian Wright has claimed that Chelsea duo Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez are not getting enough criticism for their performances this season.
The Blues suffered a disappointing defeat against Manchester United earlier this week. They didn’t look good at all, and their two central midfielders, once again, failed to dominate the game. Wright can’t believe the two of them cost over £100 million each.

Ian Wright says Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo deserve more stick
Chelsea have spent an absolute fortune since Todd Boehly took over the club, but no two players have cost them more money than Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez.
The Blues spent a British record £115 million () to sign the Ecuador international in the summer, while Fernandez cost an eye-watering £106.8 million () back in January this year.
Both players have huge potential, there is no doubt about that, but when you spend so much money on your midfield, you would expect them to deliver instantly.
Wright pointed at Arsenal star Declan Rice and claimed that’s how a £100 million should play. Fernandez and Caicedo, who cost more than him, haven’t been half as good as the Englishman.
Speaking about Rice on , the Arsenal legend said: “That’s what a £100 million player should be looking like and playing like.
“Them man (Caicedo and Fernandez) ain’t getting enough stick, bro. They need more stick for them man.
“How can you have £200 million in your midfield and not control a game? Come on, man! Declan is now adding goals to his game.”

Declan Rice is better than both Fernandez and Caicedo
The fact that Declan Rice cost Arsenal less than what Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo cost Chelsea is just ridiculous, isn’t it?
The Englishman is arguably the best player in the Premier League right now. He has been sensational for Arsenal so far this season, and he could lead them to the title.
Wright is right about Fernandez and Caicedo. You can’t spend so much money on two midfielders and watch them fail to control the game week in and week out.
Things need to change for Chelsea ASAP. If it doesn’t, Mauricio Pochettino could well be shown the door in the coming months.
