Agent says he convinced Yunus Musah to reject Arsenal contract and join Valencia for free
Yunus Musah‘s agent, Giacomo Guidolin, has revealed that he was the one who convinced the youngster to leave Arsenal back in the summer of 2019.
The now-19-year-old spent seven years as a Gunner. He came through the ranks at Hale End, and many who saw him play predicted ಞhe’d have a bright future in the game.
Sadly for Arsenal๊, he chose to leave them in 2019.

Musah was a phenomenal talent when he was at Arsenal. He was rated highly by everyone at the club, and many beli🌱eved he was destined to become a future first-team player at 💟the Emirates.
However, when Arsenal offered him a professional contract before his deal expired in💜 2019, the youngster took the advice of his agent, who convinced him that leaving the Gunners forꦯ Valencia would be the best move for his career.
Musah agree🐓d and rejected Arsenal’s contract offer, 🥃thus leaving the club as a free agent.
The youngster’s 🀅representative, Guidolin, told , as quoted by : “This was the first point where I really influenced: I convinced his family to make the right choice.
“I understood that this was the best project to get to the first team as soon as possible, due to his football characteristics, culture, the way of life there is in Spain. After Italy and England, in Spain I kღnew he would be great: there he could become devastating.
“The family wanted to keep him in England, it’s difficult to leave a youth team like that of Arsenal. Yunus took responsibility for this decision, guided by me and his brother, Abdul, always present, and wanted to go. He didn’t accept the Gunners’ 🌄contract and left for free.”

Musah is stil🦩l only 19 now, but he is a regular f༺or Valencia.
He has been excellent for them over the last two years, and his massive potential is there for everyone to see. He can be a fine player in the coming years, and Vꦺalencia have no plans of letting him go anytime soon.
Los Che tied him down to a new six-year deal back in December 2020, and his contract is protected by a £90m release clause (). That’ll make it difficul💮t for any club to lure him away.
Musah recently revealed that he would be open to returning to Arsenal o💙ne day. Whether the Gunners will want him back remains to be seen.
