Agent says £15m player ‘absolutely wanted’ to leave Tottenham this summer
The summer transfer window has been an unusual one for Premier League teams, yet this year is proving to be a productive one for Tottenham.
Spurs last week confirmed the £65m capture of Dominic Solanke, with Tottenham ready to bid for Manuel Locatelli as Ange Postecoglou looks to add even more quality to his squad for the new season.
As well as new signings, Tottenham have done well in offloading a lot of much-needed deadwood, with Joe Rodon leaving for Leeds United and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Bryan Gil both leaving on loan for the season.
And an agent for another player who has left Tottenham is seemingly thrilled by the decision.

Emerson Royal’s agent pleased with AC Milan transfer from Tottenham
Speaking to , Stefano Castagna, the agent of Emerson Royal, shares how happy he and the defender are on this summer’s move to AC Milan, with the Brazilian joining the Italian giants for £15m.
With Emerson’s move to Milan taking multiple weeks to complete to see the right-back finally make the switch to the San Siro was a welcome sight for all parties, and Castagna is seemingly pleased about the transfer being finalised.
Castagna said about Emerson’s move to Milan: “The negotiation was long but, in the end, the white smoke arrived to everyone’s satisfaction. Emerson absolutely wanted the Milan shirt, and he worked a lot, he pushed to come here. It was long, but we did it.
“The negotiation lasted a long time because there are two important clubs in the middle and therefore, they have to do their job. When you sign for one of the biggest clubs in the world and when you enter the trophy room you see everything there, you realise where you are. However, it is something great.”

Tottenham hit the jackpot in offloading Emerson this summer
Emerson is a player who has caused Tottenham fans a lot of frustration in the last three years, which is why it has come as a surprise that the north London side were able to sell the defender for such a good fee this summer.
The former FC Barcelona right-back clearly had no future under Postecoglou at Spurs, and Tottenham managing to sell Emerson to one of Europe’s biggest clubs in Milan is quite the move.
With £15m in the bank and money off the payroll, Tottenham can use the new funds to bring in a replacement or help shore up the rest of the squad with a new addition, with Spurs far from done in this transfer window.
