Agent of Spurs player says he expects Tottenham to miss out on £25m target despite approach
Florin Manea – the agent of Radu Dragusin – has now admitted that he expects Tottenham to miss out on a top target this summer.
The Romanian even revealed the club he believes will win this particular transfer battle.
So, what did Florin Manea say about Tottenham? Let’s take a look…
Florin Manea expects Albert Gudmundsson to reject Tottenham
The 44-year-old has now told TV Play in Italy that he expects Genoa No.11 Albert Gudmundsson to reject Tottenham and seal a move to Inter Milan.
It comes after claimed that Spurs have made an approach for the Iceland international – and are willing to pay his £25m asking price.
Manea : “Gudmundsson? (Valerio) Giuffrida is his agent and I have relations with him. He is a player who showed a lot in the last season. Will he go to Inter? I think so, in my opinion in the end he will go to the Nerazzurri unless someone arrives with the real millions.”

Evidently – unless Tottenham arrive with a significant offer – the Icelandic forward seems likely to move to the San Siro, which would be a real shame for Postecoglou.
Gudmundsson – who has been compared to Mohamed Salah – is arguably one of the best attackers in Italian football, impressively scoring 16 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions last season.
Spurs may already know about this
In our view, Spurs might have already heard about Gudmundsson’s plans to join Inter Milan, as talks to sign a different forward are expected to take place imminently.
A story from states that Tottenham are set to hold a meeting about signing Crystal Palace No.10 Ebere Eze this week, a player who also operates in an attacking midfield role, or even as a second striker, like Gudmundsson.

However, the England international is currently away at UEFA EURO 2024, so the latter stages of any deal – such as a medical and discussions over personal terms – are highly unlikely to happen until the Three Lions return from Germany.

Nevertheless, be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as Tottenham are clearly planning to be active in the market this summer.
