Agent of Liverpool star Gini Wijnaldum issues plea to Bayern Munich
The agent of Liverpool star Gini Wijanldum has issued a come and get me plea to Bayern Munich
It seems as though Jurgen Klopp is powerless when it comes to preventing the midfielder leave Anfield this summer. Wijnaldum’s contract will expire and he’ll become a free agent once the 2020/21 campaign ends.
Barcelona have been heavily linked with the player. Ronald Koeman is keen to reunite with the Liverpool man after watching him star during his time managing the Holland national team.

Wijnaldum’s departure will leave the Premier League outfit with a big void to fill in their engine room. The 30-year-old has been involved in every Premier League game for Liverpool this season and his exit would signal an obvious blow.
It would seem as though Wijnaldum isn’t destined to sign for Barcelona though. Some comments from the player’s agent have now seemingly sounded out German champions Bayern Munich.
“Wijnaldum is a free transfer and keeps all the options open. FC Bayern is a great club. If you are interested in him, please feel free to speak to us.”
TBR View: Liverpool must act quickly to replace Wijnaldum
Given his form over the last 18 months, it will prove a thankless task for Klopp and Liverpool to replace the midfield marvel. He has been a key part of the club’s success in both the Premier League and the Champions League in recent years.
The player has made 232 appearances since arriving from Newcastle United. He quickly became a favourite among supporters and always gives his all for the team.

With his agent now seemingly trying to entice other clubs into offering a contract, it would suggest his heart is set on a move elsewhere.
Liverpool can’t dwell, however, and it’s imperative they find a suitable replacement in time for the 2021/22 season getting underway.
