Agent of ‘dominant’ Tottenham target awaiting new Spurs bid amid as rival suitors lurk
Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of getting one signing over the line, and they could well make it two in the coming days.
The likes of David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano reported that Spurs have reached total agreement to sign Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.
Romano also posted on X that Tottenham’s next objective is a move for Genoa defender and Romania international Radu Dragusin.
According to Italian outlet , via , the 21-year-old’s agent is currently waiting for Spurs to submit a new bid to his client’s club.

Tottenham are up against Napoli in the race for Dragusin, and the reigning Serie A champions are seemingly well positioned to get over the line with both player and club.
The Partenopei apparently have a draft agreement with Genoa and have also made Dragusin an offer of €2million per season (around £33,000-a-week) plus increasing bonuses.
Although Napoli’s offer is said to be in line with Dragusin’s demands, agent Florin Manea hasn’t made the final decision yet.
He’s now waiting for Tottenham to make an offer, according to the report.
Tottenham target Radu Dragusin ‘one of the biggest Romanian talents’ in recent years
Spurs fans will no doubt be buzzing over how much positive movement there has been in recent days on the transfer front.
Tottenham moved quickly to seal agreement with RB Leipzig and Timo Werner, and if all goes well, the next steps should be a medical, the formalities, and then the announcement.
With the signing of a new centre-forward all-but wrapped up, Spurs need to bolster their ailing back line.
Ange Postecoglou has been without one or both of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven for far too many games, which has impacted on their previously outstanding form.
Dragusin would be a good signing for Tottenham. Despite being just 21 years of age, he already has experience at the highest level, and his ceiling seems really high.
A few years ago, Jacek Kulig of deemed Dragusin a “complete and dominant” centre-back, and hoped he’d soon be on par with the likes of Matthijs de Ligt and Merih Demiral.
“Personally, I’m a big fan of Drăgușin and hope that he will establish himself as the direct replacement for Matthijs de Ligt and Merih Demiral in the future,” he added.
“Surely one of the biggest Romanian talents that appeared in recent years.”
It looks as though a big career move beckons, and if all goes to plan, Tottenham will be his next destination.
