Agbonlahor and Wilshere tease West Brom new boy Snodgrass on Instagram
Robert Snodgrass has posted on Instagram for the second time as a West Bromwich Albion player, uploading an image that sees him in the middle of a rondo – and both Jack Wilshere and Gabby Agbonlahor have teased him.
Snodgrass, 33, has opted to join West Brom after falling down the pecking order at West Ham – managing just three Premier League appearances all season despite scoring two goals in three Carabao Cup matches.
He was out of contract in the summer but the former Leeds, Norwich and Hull midfielder has decided to move to West Brom as Sam Allardyce turns to experience to help his struggling Baggies side in their fight against the drop.
Snodgrass penned an 18-month deal at West Brom which will keep him at The Hawthorns until the summer of 2022 – and has posted on Instagram as he awaits his first match for the Midlands club against Wolves on Saturday.
West Brom are expected to bring in more players in the coming weeks, with a striker likely to be at the top of Allardyce’s shopping list. But the January window is a tough one, not least in the middle of a pandemic.
Wilshere – who remains a free agent after leaving West Ham on a free transfer last summer – and ex-Aston Villa teammate Gabby Agbonlahor both teased Snodgrass, as the image uploaded showed he was in the middle.
