After Iliman Ndiaye, Everton now want to sign player who made 26 Serie A appearances last season

After completing the signing of Iliman Ndiaye, The Toffees are now keen to add a Serie A player to their ranks.

Everton have added the talented Ndiaye to their attacking ranks as Sean Dyche looks to solve the goalscoring woes that plagued them last season.

Now, attention will turn elsewhere as they look to bolster the squad and push up the table, avoiding a relegation battle.

With that said, the club are now considering a deal to sign a 22-year-old player.

Everton want to sign Jackson Tchatchoua

According to , Everton are considering a move for Hellas Verona right-back Jackson Tchatchoua.

The 2001-born defender enjoyed a productive season in Serie A, helping his side finish in 13th and he has now made his loan move a permanent one for £2.5m.

Though, despite that, Tchatchoua could still be on the move this summer with Hellas Verona hoping to make a £6.7m sale.

Everton have ‘set their sights’ on signing him and could present the Italian club with a formal offer in the coming days.

Everton should prioritise other areas

With Everton expected to be on a tight budget this summer, they should prioritise other areas as right-back isn’t really a weak point.

Seamus Coleman and Nathan Patterson provide plenty of cover in that role, so the potential signing of Tchatchoua seems a bit unnecessary at this stage.

Out wide is where Everton need investment as they desperately lack a goalscoring winger.

Amadou Onana may need replacing, too, as he continues to be linked with a move away from Goodison Park, with Barcelona and Arsenal among the interested parties.

A telling summer lies ahead for the Merseysiders as they navigate their way through a great deal of financial uncertainty.
