After 5-1 loss and red card, West Ham are clearly not missing Reece Oxford
Reece Oxford has become something of an enigma at West Ham United. After bursting onto the scene under Slaven Bilic he signed a long-term contract at the club
However, having once being considered a potential future West Ham captain the youngster struggled to make the first-team under David Moyes and again under Manuel Pellegrini.
He spent time on loan at Reading and Borussia Monchengladbach but his displays with the West Ham under-23s were not good enough to warrant a chance for the West Ham first-team.

In January, the Hammers decided to send him back out on loan to Germany. Oxford headed to FC Augsburg until the end of the season.
Yesterday, however, would have done nothing to convince West Ham that he has a long-term future at the club.
He had a poor game as Freiburg spanked his loan club 5-1 to deepen their relegation fears.
Not only was he found wanting for much of the game as Augsburg toiled, but Oxford was also sent off in the last minute of the game to compound his misery.
He will need to do a lot better than this for West Ham to feel that he deserves a future chance at the club. It looks increasingly likely that his time with the Hammers is coming to an end.
