Adrian and Pedro Chirivella react as Liverpool defeat Wolves

Liverpool are once again 16 points clear at the top of the Premier League after a 2-1 win over Wolves at Molineux.

Jordan Henderson opened the scoring for the Reds but Raul Jiminez restored parity to put Wolves on course for a point.

Liverpool weren’t to be denied, however, and a late Roberto Firmino goal restored their mammoth lead at the summit.

The Reds have proved an unstoppable force in the Premier League this season, dropping points in just one of their 23 Premier League contests.

Following the game, Liverpool players have taken to social media to speak of their delight at the team’s performance.

First, Adrian who was on the bench at Molineux took to Twitter to praise the team’s winning mentality.

He was a superb understudy to Alisson during his injury earlier in the campaign and is firmly rooting for the team from the sidelines:

Next up to tweet in response to another three points was fringe player Pedro Chirivella.

The 22-year-old has played four first-team games this season and he was quick to heap praise on Liverpool’s matchwinner.

Togetherness

These tweets just show the unity within the Liverpool camp right now and it’s a big part of their success.

Liverpool are romping towards their first league title for nearly 30 years and they would thoroughly deserve it.

The Reds claimed Champions League silverware last season but this time around they will get their hands on a trophy that has eluded them for so long.

Both Adrian and Chirivella might have a part to play between now and the end of the season and both appear happy to be part of the project.
