Adel Taarabt gives transfer advice to reported Tottenham target Eberechi Eze

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Queens Park Rangers playmaker Eberechi Eze and Adel Taarabt – who played for both Spurs and QPR – has given some transfer advice to Eze.

Eze, 21, has been in stunning form for QPR this season. Indeed, the England Under-21 international has had a hand in 20 goals during his 37 Championship appearances – scoring 12 and creating eight. Such form has seen Tottenham become interested.

in March that Tottenham were favourites to secure a £20million deal for Eze, with such a figure putting both Sheffield United and Crystal Palace off a deal. The report claims Mauricio Pochettino also wanted to sign Eze.

Taarabt is renowned as an icon at QPR, and he told the that Eze must remain focused on football and to keep working hard – but urged the young English ace to “go to the top”, amid rumours Spurs are interested.

“My advice for him is to keep working,” Taarabt said. “Give your best for QPR, because QPR fans already recognise just how good he is. Be focused, and try to go to the top. That is my advice, focus on football.”

TBR’s view – Eze needs a move this summer, to further development

Eze needs Premier League football if he is to continue to develop and maximise his enormous potential. He has shown that he is oe of the best attacking midfielders in Championship football, playing every single second-tier match this season.

With more than 100 matches for QPR under his belt at the age of just 21, Eze now needs a Premier League move. Will he get the required game time at Tottenham? Probably not, but perhaps a move to Spurs and then a loan to a top-tier side is ideal.
