Adams would need to adept to step up quicker than Traore if Wolves signed him
Wolves are one of a host of clubs on the trail of Birmingham forward Che Adams this month,
Adams has 13 goals for the Blues this season as Garry Monk’s side have defied pre-season expectations and financial constraints to put themselves in play-off contention with over half the season gone.
Wolves are keen on Adams, who can play on both flanks as well as through the middle, and want him to boost a frontline that could do with additional firepower despite their impressive start to life back in the Premier League.
Many of Wolves’ squad have adjusted well to life in the big time after taking the Championship by storm, but record signing Adama Traore has struggled to replicate the consistency he showed last season in the top flight.

And Adams would need to learn from Traore’s failings in terms of end-product if he were to become a successful part of Wolves’ attack coming in during the middle of the season.
Wolves’ approach is smart and slick but does not produce a great amount of goalscoring opportunities, meaning that Adams would need to sharpen up to make the step.
The good news is that Birmingham are not the most expansive side either, and Adams has been snapping up many of the chances he gets.
