Adam Pope has confirmed that Leeds will complete permanent £11m deal for winger Jack Harrison

Despite three brilliant seasons at Elland Road, Jack Harrison remains a Manchester City player. The left-footer has been on loan at Leeds since 2018. Now, journalist Adam Pope has confirmed that Leeds will spend the £11million needed to sign him permanently.

Harrison, 24, has been excellent throughout 2020-21 – a big improvement from his first season at Leeds. He managed just five Championship goals, but the England Under-21 international has progressed. So much so, he has had a hand in 16 Premier League goals over the last 12 months.

However, he has remained on loan at Leeds for the 128 games he has clocked up. This summer, his permanent move from Pep Guardiola’s Premier League champions is expected to go through – and Pope has confirmed as much. He has a year left on his Man City contract.

, commentator Pope claims that Leeds will sign Harrison. He says the £11million fee needed has been put aside to complete the deal – stating unerringly: “£11million will be spent on Jack Harrison. That is going to happen.”

Harrison is a bargain for Leeds at £11m, following Pope update

Liam Cooper recently revealed all about Harrison’s work rate behind the scenes and that alone is reason why Leeds must sign him. For an English player to score eight and create the same, at 24, is a rarity – at £11million. Marcelo Bielsa is the reason, along with Harrison, for his growth.

One of Victor Orta’s best bits of business at Leeds, Harrison has already played well over 100 games and will surely surpass 200. An England call-up is on the horizon if he produces another season like this one, and at £11million – it is one of the best deals that could happen this summer.
