AC Milan now interested in signing 25-year-old Everton player, he’s played just three games this season
AC Milan are reportedly interested in a move for Everton defender Ben Godfrey, who this season has featured just three times for the Toffees.
The 25-year-old centre-back has hardly featured for Sean Dyche since the former Burnley man took over at Everton, with Godfrey’s last appearance for Everton coming in mid-December.
Despite this, there has been an unusual amount of transfer interest in Godfrey, with Newcastle United reportedly interested in signing the former Norwich City star.

And , Italian giants Milan are also keeping tabs on Godfrey, who Everton are open to selling for cheap this January.
With Leeds United also mentioned as an interested party, there’s now a real chance that Godfrey could leave Everton this month if a suitable offer was to be made for the defender.
Yet there’s no denying that Milan would be an appealing move for Godfrey, especially with fellow countryman Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus-Cheek both flourishing at the San Siro.
AC Milan could be a dream move for Ben Godfrey this January

Godfrey is clearly a talented defender having been capped by England at a senior level and been a regular for Everton until Dyche’s arrival.
And with Milan now interested in signing the Goodison Park defender, a move to Italy could be exactly what’s needed to get Godfrey’s career back on track.
As mentioned, the Rossoneri have been revived both Tomori and Loftus-Cheek’s careers, and Godfrey could undergo a similar transformation if the defender was to secure a move to Milan this January.
