AC Milan now exploring if they can beat Tottenham to £30m transfer deal

Tottenham Hotspur are facing an ever increasing battle to get a deal for Radu Dragusin over the line, with AC Milan now involved as well.

Tottenham have been trying to sign Dragusin for the past week or so and over the weekend, looked like they were close to doing the deal.

However, reports have surfaced today to claim Bayern Munich have now reached an agreement with Genoa for Dragusin.

And now, things are getting worse for Spurs with reports from Italy now claiming AC Milan are in the race to sign the Romanian as well.

AC Milan looking to beat Tottenham to Radu Dragusin

According to AC Milan have now initiated contact with Genoa over a potential deal to bring Dragusin to the San Siro.

At the moment, it’s claimed that things are just at an exploratory stage and that as yet, there has been no official bid from the Rossoneri.

However, with Spurs not quite getting this deal done yet, it is another potential spanner in the works for Daniel Levy and co to deal with.

Dragusin has emerged as the top target for Tottenham and their manager, Ange Postecoglou.

The club are hoping to complete a deal for Timo Werner tonight as well, meaning they can then shift full focus onto Dragusin if they wish.

Tottenham need to get a move on

The longer this drags on, the more you feel Tottenham might be getting themselves in a bit of a mess here.

With Bayern and now Milan, two giants of Europe, involved, it means the pressure is on Spurs to ensure a deal gets over the line.

At the moment, it looks like they’re going to just have to pay the money that Genoa want (around £30m).

Failure to do so will likely see the Romanian sign elsewhere and bring a disappointing conclusion to this particular saga.

Tottenham, then, need to get a move on and get this one done ASAP.
