AC Milan decide on their number one striker target amid interest in Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson
TBR Football can exclusively reveal the plans for AC Milan’s striker search amid links with Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson.
Despite already having a bloated squad list, Chelsea’s spending has continued this summer, and this has seen an attacking overhaul.
Chelsea first signed Liam Delap from Ipswich, before adding another striker in the form of Joao Pedro who has been an instant success thus far.
Recruiting up front at such an expensive and rapid rate has left Nicolas Jackson worried about his future at Chelsea, as TBR Football previously revealed, with the club not big enough for three starting number nines.
This concern has grown and now TBR Football understand that Jackson’s future at Chelsea is potentially over, with the club believing he has had enough chances to impress.
But where could the future take him?

AC Milan set Dusan Vlahovic as top striker target this summer
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that Jackson has several options this summer, and among the suitors are AC Milan.
The Serie A outfit are believed to be keeping an eye on the situation around the Senegal international this summer, however he has not emerged as their number one target.
Instead, TBR Football can reveal that Milan are fully focused on signing Dusan Vlahovic this summer instead as his future at Juventus looks beyond salvation.
The Serbian is Milan’s number one target and they are currently progressing within talks to sign the striker labelled “massive” and “strong” by Roberto Boninsegna, as quoted by .
Bailey adds that Vlahovic is also in talks over leaving Juventus on a free, giving up his contract at the club, which would then pave the way for Milan to swoop in and sign him.
Dusan Vlahovic is also wanted in the Premier League
The striker market this summer is very competitive with several top options for clubs already off the table, with Chelsea signing two of them.
This has meant that there is a genuine race to sign Vlahovic this summer with several clubs all keen on the big Serbian.
Manchester United and Nottingham Forest have been linked, but TBR Football reported that Vlahovic has always preferred to join AC Milan and remain in Italy, which suggests everything is falling into place for the player this summer.
Last season for Juventus, Vlahovic scored 17 goals which showcases that he is far from finished in football, and whoever signs him this summer has an excellent player on their hands who all but guarantees goals.
