AC Milan are in advanced negotiations to sign £25m player Ange Postecoglou wanted at Tottenham
According to a recent report, Tottenham Hotspur look set to miss out on a rumoured target this summer transfer window.
The North Londoners are preparing for a congested fixture list next season with Europa League football returning.
As such, Ange Postecoglou will need heavy investment in the transfer window in order to bolster his ranks.
That said, he looks set to miss out on a player he really wanted to sign this summer.

According to , via , Serie A giants AC Milan are in advanced negotiations to sign France and Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana.
Tottenham had been leading Arsenal in the race for Fofana’s signature but it seems Milan have swooped in and hijacked the deal.
The 25-year-old has a year left on his Monaco deal and is available for £20m – which put many clubs on red alert.
Having exited Euro 2024 on Tuesday evening, a deal for Fofana is expected to accelerate over the coming days with Tottenham seemingly in the background.
Tottenham focused on signing an attacker
Tottenham are thought to be prioritising a move for a versatile attacker with Fenerbahce’s Sebastian Szymanski close to making the switch to North London, as reported by TBR on Tuesday.
The Poland international is set to become Spurs’ third signing of the summer after the smart additions of Timo Werner and Archie Gray.
Once that deal has materialised, they could look to sign a goalkeeper and perhaps a midfielder of a similar profile to Fofana.
A busy few weeks lie ahead for Spurs chiefs.
