‘Absolutely terrific’: Chris Sutton loves what Everton ace did in 43rd minute v Arsenal
Everton eased some of the pressure on Rafa Benitez as they ran out 2-1 winners over Arsenal on Monday night.
The Toffees were in poor form prior to the match at Goodison Park.
Everton started the season well, with four wins and a draw from five Premier League games.
However, the Blues subsequently endured some of the worst form in the top flight afterwards.

Everton had won just one game since mid-September prior to Monday night, against relegation-battling Norwich.
Come full time against Arsenal, a superb display from the hosts and three points instantly lifted the mood.
Everton had fallen behind to Martin Odegaard’s first-half injury-time opener, after Richarlison saw a goal chalked off by VAR.
The Brazilian was unlucky in the 58th minute too, as another of his efforts found the back of the net but was also ruled out for offside.
However, Richarlison finally got himself on the scoresheet on 79 minutes, heading home the rebound after Demarai Gray hit the bar.
And Gray sent Goodison into raptures two minutes into injury time, firing in off the inside of the Arsenal post.
Everton ace’s “absolutely terrific” contribution against Arsenal
It was a proper Everton performance with many players impressing.

For example, Andros Townsend earned plenty of fan plaudits last night for his display.
BBC Sport pundit Chris Sutton described one of his contributions as “absolutely terrific”.
In the 43rd minute, Townsend swung in a superb cross that Richarlison headed into the far corner.
Although it was chalked off for offside, Sutton was nonetheless impressed with both Townsend and Richarlison.
“The quality of the ball from Andros Townsend was absolutely terrific,” said Sutton ().
“You can say it’s a good line from Arsenal. It’s a terrific header from Richarlison but he is beyond the last man.”
Townsend has proven a shrewd signing for Everton – and he didn’t cost the club a penny.
