Aaron Wan-Bissaka must learn from Wilfried Zaha’s mistakes and stay at Crystal Palace
This week, reports in the have linked Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka with an eye-catching move to Bayern Munich.
The 21-year-old defender must learn from his teammate Wilfried Zaha’s mistakes and stay at Palace, as a move to the German giants would be a massive mistake at this stage of Wan-Bissaka’s career.
Back in 2013, Zaha signed with Manchester United from Palace, and made his debut in August 2013 as a 20-year-old. At a similar age to Wan-Bissaka, Zaha took a huge step up when he took on the challenge of playing for one of the best clubs in Europe.
But Zaha’s spell at Old Trafford ended in disaster, with the youngster failing to crack it at United and ending up back in SE25 in 2014.

Although Wan-Bissaka’s impressive performances at right back this season have shown he can cut it at the top level, a transfer to Bayern would be a daunting prospect for a player of his age. Rather than being a regular first-team starter, the English U-21 international would struggle to make the squad each week.
At Wan-Bissaka’s age, playing consistent football must be his highest priority, and sitting on the bench in Munich would only stunt his superb progress to date.
The interest from the German giants will undoubtedly be flattering, but Aaron Wan-Bissaka must ignore Bayern Munich’s approach and stay put at Selhurst Park.
