Aaron Ramsey and John McGinn react to news coming out of Aston Villa

Aston Villa have enjoyed an incredibly busy start to the summer transfer window.

Unai Emery has already bolstered his squad with six signings and⛎ another two could follow them through the door at Villa Park.

Amadou Onana looks set to compꦫlete a switch to Villa imminently, with Emery’s sid🎉e closing in on a £50 million deal to sign the Evert𓆏on star.

Jaden Philogene is also set for a medical at Bodyജmoor Heath on Monday, which will see the former Villa star complete a swift return to the Midlꩵands after leaving♔ for Hull City last summer.

But Aston Villa have also wasted no time in shifting players who had no futures under Emery. Indeed, barring the loss of key man Douglas Luiz to Juventus, the likes of Calum Chambers 🅺and Morgan Sanson have both headed out the door.

Now, after Chambers secured a switch to Cardiff City this weekend, former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey and Villa skipper John McGinn have both reacted to the news.

Villa’s summer transfer window

This feels like 🍃the right move for Chambers after he’s struggled to establish himself as a regular at Villa. The Englishman provided the Villains with a versatile option due to his ability to cover across the backline.

But with Emery preparing his side for the Champions League ne🐠xt season, it feels vital that Villa improve their depth in all are♎as of the pitch.

They are certainly delivering on that front so far, particularly if Onana and Philogene follow Ross Barkley, Enzo Barrenechea, Ian Maatsen, Samuel Iling-Junior, Lewis D🐬obbin and Cameron Arcꦿher through the door.
