Aaron Cresswell shares what is ‘strange’ about Leeds as West Ham prepare for Elland Road trip on Saturday

Leeds welcome West Ham to Elland Road on Saturday afternoon, as Marcelo Bielsa’s side look to secure their first win of the 21-22 season.
The Hammers, meanwhile, travel north in sublime form. They have eight points from five league games, winning in Europe against Zagreb.
They also booked their place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup having beaten Manchester United 1-0. A tricky tie for Leeds on Saturday.
Speaking ahead of the match, Cresswell was full of praise for a side the Hammers beat twice in 20-21 – but described their approach as “strange”.
“Very hard-working. They’re a very good side,” Cresswell said. “They run all over the pitch. The energy levels that their boys have were very strong.
“It’s strange when a team goes one v one with you all over the park, the left-back going to the right to stay with his marker, but they’re a fantastic team.”

If you were to put your money on Leeds or West Ham this weekend, you would surely go for the latter – even if they lack home advantage.
The Hammers are in a brilliant run of form. Not only are they winning, but they are winning well. Their flair players are performing superbly.
Defensively, they look astute and while there are weaknesses, they look excellent and with an identity under David Moyes.
Leeds, meanwhile, are still in second gear and yet to find what is needed to go beyond. Tuesday night’s penalty-shootout win will give them confidence.
However, they lack numerous players to injury. Potentially, they could be without seven crucial players coming into the match.
Pascal Struijk is suspended. Patrick Bamford, Diego Llorente and Robin Koch are injured. Raphinha, Luke Ayling and Jack Harrison are doubts.
