Manchester United a real ‘possibility’ for £100m striker compared to Alan Shearer
Manchester United fans will be hoping for some big signings this summer and they could end up with one of Europe’s best youngsters.
The Red Devils have new hope in the transfer market after Sir Jim Ratcliffe completely his partial takeover of the club.
Ratcliffe is hoping to revamp things on and off 🔜the pitch. A number of new faces, like Dan Ashworth, are coming into the club and that, in turn, should help with new signiꦓngs.
Quite whဣether Ratcliffe will go and splash out a huge sum on any one player, remains to be seen.
But according to journalist Ben Jacobs, a £100m-rated forward is nowᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ a distinct possibility for United.
Manchester United could sign £100m forward
Not many players get the tag of being wౠorth such a huge sum of money.
Last summer we did see the likes of Moises Caicedo and Declan Rice go for that sort of money. But༺ aဣt the end of the day, most fans expect that cash to be spent on strikers.
O🐻ne striker who is apparently valued at 👍that amounts if Brighton’s Evan Ferguson.

And according to Ben Jacobs, speaking to , Ferguson is very much a possibility for Man Unite𝓡d this summer.
“Evan Ferguson is a possibility, along with a number of other strikers that are being looked at by Manchester United. With Ferguson, the price could well be a stumbling block. It’s going to be difficult for Manchestꦗer United to find that £100m or so for any one player in any position without outgoings first, which is why we may not know a clearer picture until after the 30th June,” Jacobs said.
“Brighton don’t put valuations on players. So the feeling that Ferguson is £100m is based upon age, potential, profile, demand, and the fact that relatively recently, he signed a new deal. So Brighton are well protected. Then add to that how they handled the Moises Caicedo exit, and it’s logical to think that nob♔ody is going to g🐓et Evan Ferguson on the cheap.”
Evan Ferguson could be United’s Alan Shearer
Everyone knows the story of how United didn’t get Shearer back in his prime when he 🎃went a⛄nd signed for Newcastle instead.
But now, it looks like they have a chance to avoid repeating that trick withᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ🎀ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ Ferguson.
to Shearer in the past and it’s easy to see why real🐽ly.
The young Irishman is out of form at the moment but he will get back𝐆 to business soon e💮nough and whoever does sign him will be confident they’ve got a real star.
United need some new players this summer. And while they signed Rasmus Hojlund last year, the idea of bringing Ferguson in as well is some🐓thing to excite the Old Trafford faithful.
