98.7% pass accuracy, 87 touches, one key pass – Liverpool star was superb against Spurs
Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is very much back to his best after experiencing a downturn in form earlier this season, and was particularly impressive in Wednesday night’s crunch Premier League clash.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds hosted Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield, a game between the league’s top two sides, and emerged triumphant in a dominant display, running out 2-1 winners.

Wijnaldum put in a superb display for the Reds, helping his side dominate possession and coped well against intense pressing from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Moussa Sissoko.
The 30-year-old’s stats from the game make for great reading – as per , he boasted a superb 98.7 percent passing accuracy from 78 passes, took 87 touches, made one key pass and delivered two accurate long balls.
Wijnaldum’s contract runs out next summer but it’s imperative that Klopp ties him down to a new deal given his importance to the team – .
