How Joshua Zirkzee is feeling about leaving Manchester United as Juventus turn attentions elsewhere
Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee is set to remain at Old Trafford this month despite question marks over his immediate future, TBR Football can reveal.
The Dutchman has struggled to settle properly in Manchester but has been a regular part of Ruben Amorim’s squads so far.
There has been interest in Zirkzee, though, with Juventus open to swapping Dusan Vlahovic in return.
Zirkzee, of course, was taken off after just half an hour in embarrassing fashion against Newcastle.
However, while that situation did cause tension, it now looks like Zirkzee will remain at Old Trafford.

Manchester United tell Joshua Zirkzee he’s going nowhere in January
TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey can reveal that Zirkzee was really annoyed at the handling of the situation around him being substituted against Newcastle.
However, he has smoothed that over with Ruben Amorim and having talked with his representatives he has indeed made it clear he plans to stay.
He feels he is good enough for United and can prove it. Zirkzee had interest from Juventus, but also Napoli.
TBR Football can also confirm that United had made it clear to him and his people in the last week – since confirming that Marcus Rashford could leave on loan – that the they have little intention of letting him out this month.
Furthermore, Juventus are also keen on Randal Kolo Muani, meaning their pursuit of Zirkzee could end anyway.
Zirkzee’s impact opposite of Manuel Ugarte’s at Man United
New signings need time to settle sometimes and Joshua Zirkzee looks like he’s going to be in that boat of needing time.
However, his arrival has been in stark contrast to fellow newbie, Manuel Ugarte.
Reports suggest United feel Ugarte is one of the best signings they’ve made in years and the midfielder is very much high on the agenda for Ruben Amorim’s new-look team.
Zirkzee will be hoping to get up the level shown by Ugarte and prove over time he can be just as impactful on the club as the midfielder.
