9.2/10, 100% shot accuracy… 23-year-old Celtic player was outstanding vs Hibs last night
I think I said previously today that there were a number of players who were excellent for Celtic in the 4-1 win against Hibs last night.
And there were. Even though Brendan Rodgers highlighted Matt O’Riley‘s 90 minutes against the Edinburgh side as ‘absolutely outstanding‘ (and it was!), there was one player who played better than the Danish international midfielder.
Luis Palma played on the left flank for Celtic and according to football ratings site, , had his performance of the season against Hibs.
The Honduran has been superb for Celtic over the past couple of months and he continued his good form with an outstanding performance against Hibs last night.
Luis Palma was a powerhouse for Celtic vs Hibs
Rated a 9.2, Palma also added to his goal tally with a well-taken first-half penalty last night. Not only that, the 23-year-old also created an assist and had five attempts at goal all of which were on target.

With 93 touches of the ball, Palma racked up an 80% passing accuracy and had six touches in the Hibs penalty box as he helped to create three chances for his Celtic teammates.
Defensively, Palma was brilliant. He won 100% of all his tackles, made seven defensive actions, six ball recoveries and won eight duels against a Hibs team that had no answers to the questions Palma posed them.
It was an all-round brilliant performance by the Honduran international as he helped to cement Celtic’s place at the top of the Scottish Premiership last night.
Not bad for a player that was frustrating Brendan Rodgers and his Celtic teammates.
In other news, Luis Palma rejected a big money move to Saudi Arabia to join Celtic
