£80m striker who Arsenal have enquired to sign has now agreed personal terms elsewhere

Arsenal are continuing to search for a new striker to bolster Mikel Arteta’s squad before next week’s transfer deadline.

Kai Havertz was seriously tired following Arsenal’s recent 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers – t🍨he striker needed to be lifted up off the pitch by physios at full-time.

Without Gabriel Jesus fit and available for the remainder of the season, Havertz would have a heavy burden on h🍌is shoulde🧸rs should Arsenal not find a solution.

Arsenal primarily want Benjamin Sesko and Alex𒐪ander🦋 Isak, but the duo won’t be available this month.

Therefore, the Gunners will need to think outside of the box, and it was recently reported that Arsenal made a call to sign Jhon Duran from Aston Villa💟, a brilliant young stri𝓀ker who is attracting all kinds of interest right now.

Jhon Duran agrees terms with Al-Nassr after late Arsenal interest

Unfortunately for Arsenal fans, journalist Ben Jacobs is now reporting that Duran 🍌has agreed personal terms with Saudi side Al-Nassr.

In a complicated situation, Al🌱-Nassr have a deal waiting to go for Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface – all is agreed, but the Saudi side are putting things on hold to see if theꦕy can sign Duran instead.

A fee is yet to be agreed between Villa and Al-Nassr, but Duran has ‘agreed term♔s’ with the sideꦇ, demonstrating a willingness on his part to head to the Saudi Pro League.

Sharing his update, Jacobs said: “More on Nassr’s pursuit of both Victor Boniface and Jhon Duran. Decision taken ♊tomorrow, as revealed.

“Full verbal agreement wit🦂h Boniface for €60m. Player ready to fly.

“Duran has agreed terms with Nassr, who a😼re hoping to agre🍎e a fee with Villa on Wednesday then decide which deal to proceed with.

“Similar to Al-Ahli last summer, who lined up Ivan Toney but continued to try for Victor Osimhen. I🔯n the end, they didn’t reach an agreement with Napoli. Aurelio De Laurentiis actually upped the price after learning of the Toney agreement.”

Dusan Vlahovic might still be the answer for Arsenal

Duran has admirers at Arsenal, but the club have seemingly not gone ♏beyond an initia🅠l enquiry for the Villa striker.

Arsenal are thought to be willing to spendไ big this month, but only on a striker who fits their long-term plans.

Villa want at least £80m for Duran, and Arsenal would therefore not be abඣle to pursue their two most highly-r☂egarded strikers in the summer were they to spend big this month.

Dusan Vlahovic remains available for Arsenal, a striker who might still become available🌺 on a short-term basis from Juventus given their Randal Kolo Muani capture.

It’s certainly a complex situation,ဣ but all in north London would have known that finding a striker who could genuinely make a difference wouldn’t be easy in January.
