80.9% pass accuracy, 3 tackles, 3 interceptions: Rangers paid nothing for player who utterly bossed Dortmund
Glasgow Rangers recorded one of their most famous European nights on Thursday.
The Ibrox outfit cruised to a 4-2 victory away at Borussia Dortmund in their knockout round playoff first leg.
Rangers took the lead in the 38th minute as James Tavernier lashed home a penalty.

Three minutes later, the Ibrox captain was involved again for the Gers’ second.
Joe Aribo flicked Tavernier’s corner in at the near post for Alfredo Morelos to poke the ball home.
John Lundstram then made it three with a fierce effort from Ryan Kent’s cutback.
Dortmund pulled a goal back on 51 minutes through Jude Bellingham.
However, Dan-Axel Zagadou scored an own goal not long after to restore Rangers’ three-goal lead.
Raphael Guerreiro pulled another one back for the hosts eight minutes from time, but couldn’t mount a late comeback.
At the heart of Rangers’ superb performance was Ryan Jack.
The midfielder has struggled with injuries and had only made six appearances this season prior to Thursday.
Jack was taking part in his first European match since the 3-3 draw with Benfica last season.

And he delivered a simply world-class performance, dominating Dortmund’s stellar line-up.
Jack pulled the strings in midfield, passing confidently and giving Rangers the perfect platform to build.
As per , he took 59 touches and made 47 passes at 80.9 percent accuracy.
Jack also weighed in with an effort and made three tackles, three interceptions and one clearance.
Rangers are a much better side with the 29-year-old at the heart of their midfield.
And he didn’t even cost anything when he joined the Ibrox ranks in 2017.
