‘8.5’, ‘got better and better’: Alasdair Gold blown away by £12m Tottenham player
Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Lloris has received plaudits from football.london Spurs correspondent Alasdair Gold.
The Spurs goalkeeper has been in great form this season, helping his side stay unbeaten in the Premier League.
Lloris has played every minute of every game for Tottenham this term, keeping three clean sheets.

However, there are fears that Tottenham may be without their first choice shot-stopper for the coming weeks.
Lloris had to withdraw from the latest France squad due to a thigh injury.
Having left the French camp in Clairefontaine and returned to Hotspur Way, the man is set to step up his recovery.
‘Top-drawer’
With the international break in full swing, Gold took the opportunity to assess how each Spurs player has fared.
And Lloris got an 8.5 out of 10 for his efforts so far this term.
“Other than a shaky game against West Ham with some poor kicking, Lloris has got better and better as the season has worn on,” Gold wrote on .
“With some top drawer saves in the matches against Sporting and Leicester.
“Spurs will be hoping the small thigh injury that has kept him out of France’s two matches this fortnight is no more than that.”

‘Big, big part of that team’
Journalist Paul Brown has given his take on the Lloris fitness situation to GiveMeSport.
The journalist believes Antonio Conte will be desperate for the Frenchman to make a speedy recovery, particularly with the North London derby on the horizon.
Brown told : “We’re coming into a very busy schedule and Lloris is a big, big part of that team.
“There was some speculation about his future not too long ago, which has since gone away.
“I think, in terms of his leadership and reliability, he’s a big, big part of Spurs. They will want him fit and back as soon as possible.”
