£7m Premier League striker claims Arsenal fans are completely ‘delusional’
West Ham United striker Michail Antonio has claimed that Arsenal fans are ‘delusional’ and admitted they annoy him.
Arsenal supporters have every right to be feeling good about their side right now, with Mikel Arteta’s men currently leading the way in the Premier League.
The Gunners also booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League with a penalty shoot-out w𓆏in over Porto 🉐on Tuesday evening.
But West Ham United’s Michail Antonio isn’t impressed with Arsenaܫl’s supporters as he believes they are getting ahead of themselves at the moment.
Antonio claims Arsenal fans are ‘delusional’
Speaking on , Antonio was asked about Arsenal fans jumping the gun when it comes to their sideಌ picking up major silverware this season.
“I want to talk about the fans,” he said. “I’ve had t♛his discussion about Arsenal fans before. I beef a lot of people, it’s one thing you🅰’ll realise…”
“Careful Mikey,” warned host Rickie H-Williams.
“Arsenal fans, yeah, my agent’s an Arsenal fan I’ve got loads of family members who are Arsenal fans and a💞 lot of friends,” Antonio went on. “They’ll all come for me but they annoy me.
“I’m talking about my agent, my family and my friends. Because as soon as they are top-toeing close to anything, they’re the best team in the 🍒world. It’s actually unbelievable how delusional these people are.
“Bro, 💖last year when we♑ beat Arsenal at home and they were top of the league, my agent, who I’ve been with since I was 19, called me up and called me a waste man!”
He added: “Before the season they were talki♌ng about Arsenal and some of the stuff t♕hey say is actually outrageous!”
Antonio has previously admitted that he do🎃esn’t like Arsenal supporters, so this isn’t the first time the str💦iౠker has taken a swipe at the Gunners faithful.
This will undoubtedly go down well with West Ham su💎pporters given that Arsenal are their London rivals. But you’d imagine that Antonio will annoy plenty of Arsena✨l fans in the process with his latest dig.
Of course, some suppo🥃rters can go o🍬ver the top at times when it comes to backing their side for success.
The sam✅e could be said for every fan base in the Premier League though and Arsenal fans have good cause to be louder than usual right now.
Off the back of eight consecutive league wins, Arteta’s side remain firmly in the mix for the title and will be eyeing European suc༺cess.
