‘Another’: Welsh media unhappy with 5/10 Leeds player following Armenia performance

Leeds United fans had eyes on the international games this weekend, as Wales tried to take down Armenia to keep their Euros dream alive.

In the end, Wales struggled to a 1-1 draw and they’re now reliant on other games going their way, as well as beating Turkey, to have a chance of going through. And with Croatia comfortably beatin🦄g Latvia, it looks a tall order.

Of course, Leeds fans had eyes on the game as players such as Ethan Ampadu and Joe Rodon started for Wales, while Daniel James came off the bench.

As we know, Ampadu has been in fine form since signing for Leeds in the summer. But for Wales tonight, he was off the pace and the Welsh media weren’t 𝔍too impressed.

Ethan Ampadu struggles for Wales

Giving all the players their ratings after the game, e cited Ampadu as one of the Welsh pl🌠ayers to struggle against the Armenians.

That miss probably influenced the l♏ow 5/10 rating her🐽e and the Leeds man was by no means the worst player on display for the Red Dragons.

The likes of Kieffer Moore struggled massively and even top players like Brennan Johnson – albeit off the bench – had little impact.

Ampadu, like everyone in W♈ales, will be disappointed not to have ꧒come away from Armenia with a win.

On pa🐽per, the Welsh are the better side but they perhaps lacked the guile needed and in fairness, Armenia did their job well.

For Ampadu, this season will all be about promotion with Leeds. It’s just a sh𒆙ame it looks like he won🌞’t have a Euros to look forward to as well.
