£76.4m striker could end up at Arsenal for as little as £33.2m after decision made
Mikel Arteta and Edu Gaspar could bring a new striker to Arsenal in 2025.
Despite the effectiveness of Kai Havertz in a No.9 role – where he has already scored six goals in 13 games this season to help the north Londoners sit third – reports strongly suggest Arsenal want to add another striker to the squad.

Gabriel Jesus could be sold by the Gunners after struggling for both fitness and form at the Emirates Stadium, while Arsenal are regularly linked to Viktor Gyokeres as the Sporting CP No.9 continues to thrive in Portugal.
Now – however – Arsenal have been mentioned as a possible destination for a different striker in Randal Kolo Muani.
Arsenal could sign Randal Kolo Muani
A story from now states that PSG have decided to cut their losses on the France international – and are willing to sanction a sale for as little as €40m (£33.2m) in 2025.
The Parisians spent to sign Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt back in September 2023 after he enjoyed a special 2022/23 campaign, scoring 23 goals while also recording 17 assists in 46 appearances.
However, the Frenchman has struggled at the Parc des Princes, netting just 11 goals in 50 games, with PSG now ready to move on.

L’Equipe state that Arsenal are a potential destination for Muani in 2025 – with Manchester United also a possibility, but less likely given the uncertainty in the dugout after Erik ten Hag was sacked.
TBR Football understand Ruben Amorim is the No.1 choice to replace the Dutchman – as things stand.
Borussia Dortmund and Juventus are also both keen on signing Muani – but the French news outlet state that PSG’s valuation may prove to be an obstacle for the pair of European giants.
Mikel Arteta could develop Muani into a superstar
There is a reason why PSG spent almost £80m to sign Muani – the man from Bondy was an elite talent at Eintracht Frankfurt when it came to both scoring and creating goals.
Some readers may recall the 25-year-old also changing the game for France in the 2022 World Cup final against Argentina, inspiring Les Bleus to fight back from 2-0 down, and coming within inches of making it 4-3 in the final seconds of the match.
Arteta has already proven his coaching ability in helping Havertz go from a flop at Chelsea into one of the Premier League’s most dangerous frontmen right now, so we see no reason why the Spaniard can’t mould Muani into a deadly striker as well.
