£75k-a-week Everton man looks eager to prove himself away from Goodison – TBR View
Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has outlined his desire to show what he can do on the pitch as the January transfer window edges ever closer.
Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti has previously made it clear that the 31-year-old, while a model professional, is not part of his plans this season.
“Bolasie is doing well, he’s training well and properly. He’s a professional,” Ancelotti is quoted by the as saying in October.

“He is not part of the squad. He can train with us if he’s not able to find a club until the end of the market, and if he stays here of course we are going to train him.
“But I said to him that we have a big squad, and unfortunately there is no space for him.”
Bolasie looked set to join Middlesbrough on a season-long loan in October, but the deal fell through.
And with the January window not far off, the player is eager to return to action and prove that the serious knee injury he suffered in 2016 is now firmly behind him.
“I still believe right now I’m in very good nick,” Bolasie told Mundial’s Giant .
“That’ll be the next thing for me, to show what I can do – the opportunity of playing games, to show that I’m alive, you know?
“I want to show that I’ve recovered well. It takes time to recover but I’ve recovered. This is what I can do now – at this age.”
Bolasie’s last outing for the Toffees was over two years ago, when he came off the bench in their 3-1 Premier League defeat to West Ham in May 2018.
The ace clearly has plenty to offer and it’s great to hear him chomping at the bit for an opportunity which, as things stand, looks to be away from Everton.
Come January, he’ll hopefully make the switch somewhere he can get first-team football and there’s no doubt he’ll shine.
