£66m Liverpool player is ready to listen to proposals as ‘monster offer’ is being prepared

One Liverpool player could receive a monster offer this summer, and he’s ready to listen to that proposal.

The Arne Slot era is about to begin at Liverpool, and Reds fans are excited to see what the Dutchman will be able to do at Anfield when he takes Jurgen Klopp‘s place.

It definitely won’t be an easy job for Slot, especially if some of Liverpool‘s big players decide to move on when the transfer window opens in June.

Alisson Becker ready to listen to ‘monster offer’ that’s being prepared to sign him

Alisson Becker has been at Liverpool since Klopp signed him from AS Roma back in the summer of 2018 for £66.8 million ().

The Brazilian took the Reds to a whole new level almost immediately.

He has been one of the best goalkeepers in the world since he joined Liverpool, and without him, they wouldn’t have been as successful.

Now, with Klopp gone, there is a lot of uncertainty over the futures of a few Liverpool players, and Alisson could be one of them.

It was revealed earlier in May that clubs in Saudi Arabia are preparing a ‘monster’ contract offer to convince Alisson to move to the Middle East.

Now, Rudy Galetti has revealed that although Alisson wants to stay in Europe, he is ready to listen to the offer that’s being ‘formalised’ to be presented to him.

The journalist : “Allison Becker remains among the main targets for the Saudi League, all confirmed. The monster offer to convince the Brazilian will be formalised soon.

“The Liverpool GK prefers to stay in Europe, but is also open to listening to the proposal.”

Liverpool already know what to do if Alisson leaves

As things stand, it is extremely unlikely that Alisson will leave Liverpool.

The Brazilian still has three full years left on his contract, and the Reds are under no pressure at all to sell him, even if a big offer arrives. Romano has even confirmed that Alisson will not be sold.

However, if the goalkeeper does decide to move on, Liverpool have a very simple solution.

Caoimhin Kelleher has shown in each of the last two seasons that he is more than capable of stepping up and starting for Liverpool.

The Ireland international played 26 games in the 2023/24 season, and Klopp has even told him that he has developed into a ‘really good goalkeeper’.

If Alisson goes, Liverpool know they can promote Kelleher to become the number one, but we don’t think the Brazilian will be going anywhere this summer.
