£60m Premier League star’s advisors are trying to convince Liverpool to bid for him now
Alex Crook has claimed that Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha’s advisors have tried to convince Liverpool to bid for him.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for the Fulham star over the past few months.
Indeed, Jurgen Klopp’s men expressed an interest in Joao Palhinha over the summer. But they eventua🅠lly opted to bring in different options.
The Reds snapped up the likes of Wataru Endo, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch to bolster Klopp’s options in 💯the middle of ꦇthe park.
Fabrizio Romano stated just last month that Liverpool haven’t opened talks with Fulham over ♎a deal to sign Palhinha just yet.
But TalkSPORT’s Alex Crook claims that Palhinha’s advisors have approached Liverpool in an attempt to entice a ಌbid.

Speaking on , Croo🌄k shared an update on Palhinha’s future amid links to Li🦄verpool.
“Pa⛄lhinha, we spoke about him yesterday to Tom Cairney at Fulham,” Alan Brazil said.
“He’s a player I really like, he cov🍷ers the ground, he gets his foot in, he’s a top, top player.
“Where do you think he’s going to end up? They’re𒆙 talking about Germany, the Bundesliga, maybe Bayern. Ca💛n’t you see another Premier [League] team, one of the big boys coming in for Palhinha?”
“I’m surprised they haven’t already to be brutally honest,” Crook responded. “He was so close to going to Bayern in the summer window, literally that didn’t happen because the German window closed a l♏ot earlier in the day than it does here in England and Fulham didn’t haveꦏ the time they claim to source a replacement so he stayed.
“He signed a new contract, that Bayern interest hasn’t gone away although I’m not sure it wi🥃ll happen this month.
“But I know his advis🎃ors have been going to the top clubs, the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea in particular and saying, look, this player has proved himself a Premier League, do you want to make Fulham an offer?
“At the moment, they’re pushing back on it because of h🅰is age, I think he’s 28, that doesn’t necessarily fit the profile that t𒀰hese clubs are willing to do, but I think that’s a mistake because I think he’s just about Fulham’s best player.”
Palhinha has starred for Fulham ever since j🅺oining from Sport✃ing CP in the summer of 2022. The 28-year-old is undoubtedly one of the best holding midfielders in the Premier League and would be a superb addition to any top side.
Of course, the Portuguese star was close to joining Bayern Munich over the summer but has since 𓆏penned a new deal with Fulham.
That won’t put potential suitors off though and Liverpool ♈have been strongly linked in the past.
Yet, the Reds have already snapped up 🐻several ♍midfielders and Endo seems to be finding his feet at Anfield.
With Palhinha reportedl🐷y valued at around , it’s difficult to see Liverpool paying that sort of money to signꦓ him this month.
Nevertheless, he’s exactly the type of profile they are missing in midfield and despite the fact he’s 28, he’s the type of player who could make a huge difference in Klopp’s🌳 bid for a second league title.
