£60m England star is more likely to join Liverpool than Arsenal this summer
Liverpool and Arsenal are both potentially in the market for new attacking players this summer.
The Gunners and the Reds both need some added depth in an attacking sense, and one player who has been linked to both clubs is Eberechi Eze.
The England international is said to be of interest to a number of clubs heading into this summer, and speaking on KS1TV, Steve Kay has shared an update on the Crystal Palace star’s future.
Kay says that Eze isn’t going to sign for Arsenal as he wants to be a key player for whichever team he joins, noting that Liverpool could be a potential destination if Luis Diaz leaves the club.
Eberechi Eze more likely to join Liverpool than Arsenal
Kay shared what he knows about Eze.
“Arsenal are finding it difficult at the moment, that’s why this Eze thing at the moment, people are saying ‘aren’t Arsenal in for Eze?’ But I know someone who has spoken to Eze, he’s 26 years old, he wants to come in and he isn’t going to be a bit-part player whether it’s Arsenal or Man City,” Kay said.
“Liverpool if Diaz leaves are a shout for Eze, Has Son had his day at Tottenham? Not Arsenal, not Arsenal.”

Eze needs to start
As Kay says, Eze needs to be a starter at this point of his career.
At the age of 26 now, this is no longer a young player looking to develop, this is a player at the peak of his powers and he needs to be starting every single week to showcase his abilities.
Sadly, there isn’t a space for Eze in the Arsenal XI at the moment, but if Diaz leaves Liverpool, perhaps he could head to Anfield.
This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on.
