‘He’s a warrior’: £23m Arsenal star says he supports Leeds player a lot
Gabriel Magalhaes has said that it is a dream come true to be in the same Brazil squad as Raphinha, claiming that the Leeds United star is a player he supports a lot – .
Raphinha is looking to build on a superb debut international break with Selecao. The 24-year-old scored two goals and provided a number of assists following his debut last month.

It comes after an outstanding start to the Premier League season for the Leeds winger. His strike against Leicester City on Sunday was his fifth of the campaign. Unsurprisingly, he is Marcelo Bielsa’s side’s top goalscorer.
This international break marks the first time that he has been named in the same squad as Gabriel.

The Arsenal defender has not yet made his debut for the senior side. And ahead of their clashes with Colombia and Argentina, Gabriel shared just how happy he is for the Leeds man.
“Raphinha is a childhood friend. I am very happy for him, for everything that is happening in his life. Since we were little, we were there dreaming. Today, being able to be here with him is a dream come true. He is a brother to me,” he said, .
“Raphinha and I have always kept in touch. Since the youth categories we were together in the same accommodation. He’s a boy that I support a lot, I’m very happy for him.
“He’s a warrior, a fighter and deserves to be here for everything he’s doing.”
Arsenal and Leeds stars set to be key parts of Brazil squad for years to come
Raphinha has already demonstrated that he can steal the show on the international stage.
Gabriel – – faces competition for a chance at centre-back. But with Brazil all but assured of a place at next year’s World Cup, Tite may have an opportunity to rotate.
Based on his form for Arsenal this season, it would be no surprise to see him follow in Raphinha’s footsteps.
He has been immense alongside Leeds fan favourite Benjamin White.
So there is every reason to believe that Raphinha and Gabriel can become key parts of the Brazil squad for years to come.
