‘£50m please’, ‘Hands off’: Some fans discuss future of their Englishman, amid Tottenham links
Tottenham are reportedly interested in Aaron Ramsdale – but some Sheffield United fans on Twitter have responded by claiming they don’t want to lose him.
Ramsdale, 23, is a talented young goalkeeper who’s one of the key players in the Sheffield United squad. However, he couldn’t quite do enough to keep them in the Premier League.
The reports that Spurs are eyeing a potential swoop for the English shot-stopper from relegated side Sheffield United.
They are keen on trying to sign him alongside Wolverhampton Wanderers. Apparently, both are on the search for new goalkeepers this summer.
It remains to be seen how much Ramsdale would cost. However, some Blades fans on social media are adamant he needs to stay at Bramall Lane.
He kept only six clean sheets in 42 appearances this season, but that doesn’t tell the full story of how many high quality saves he made.
As it stands, he’ll be in the Championship next season. This is someone who was in England’s 33-man squad before it was cut to 26 players for Euro 2020.

Sheffield United fans give hands off warning to Tottenham on Ramsdale
For Spurs, it’s going to be a massive task for whoever eventually replaces Hugo Lloris.
Despite the fact Ramsdale has suffered back-to-back Premier League relegations with two different clubs, he’s still someone with massive potential.
His kicking needs brushing up on. Additionally, he needs to try become a little more consistent and a more authoritative force. There is a clear path for him though to improve, so he certainly an attractive target.
Spurs may be a step too far for the Englishman right now, but surely he should ask to leave Sheffield United to get back in the top division.
