Last week, reported that he had been ‘struggling with a muscle injury’ and faced a late fitness test ahead of Arsenal’s trip to West London on Saturday.

However, Arteta went on to play down the issue in his pre-match press conference.

“It’s a question mark to be resolved in the next few hours.”

Worrying news ahead of big Champions League clash for Arsenal

White has been an ever-present in the Arsenal backline since joining the club for a fee reported to be back in 2021.

He has already made over a century of appearances for the Gunners, both as a centre-back and as a right-back.

It looked as though White had shaken off his issue when he came on against the Bees, but the fact he’s now reportedly training on his own is concerning.

Arsenal need just one more point to reach the knockout stages of the Champions League as they welcome Lens to the Emirates Stadium.

Considering the Gunners lost their last encounter against the French side, they’ll want to make amends and also get over the line in Europe’s premier club competition.
