£43m player now suggests he has no interest in joining Arsenal this summer
Benjamin Sesko has now suggested he is not interested in joining Arsenal this summer – amid reports Mikel Arteta is keen.
The 20-year-old made the comments when speaking to BILD.
So, what did Arsenal target Benjamin Sesko say? Let’s take a look…
Benjamin Sesko suggests he does not want Arsenal move
Well – according to – Arsenal are considering a move for the RB Leipzig No.30 this summer as Arteta aims to bring a new striker to north London.
RB Leipzig would be forced to accept a bid of £43m thanks to a release clause in Sesko’s contract – although the Slovenian would have the final say on any transfer.
By the sounds of it, the man from Radeče has no interest in a move this summer.
Sesko : “I want to spend a lot of time here (at RB Leipzig) because the club suits me well. We’ll see how many years it will be in total.”

Judging by these comments, Arteta and Edu should probably start to look elsewhere.
Sesko has impressed this season with goals in 29 appearances across all competitions.
Arsenal have Benjamin Sesko alternatives
With Sesko now unlikely to move clubs this summer, Arsenal should cross the Slovenia international off the shortlist – although there are other names to pursue.
According to , the Gunners are also monitoring Ivan Toney, Lautaro Martinez, Victor Boniface and Victor Osimhen as Arteta attempts to upgrade on Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah.

In our view, Toney is the most realistic signing for Arsenal this summer.
Thomas Frank has already admitted that the England international is likely to leave this summer, and Edu apparently believes a deal could be done for around £60m.
Be sure to keep an eye on developments at the Emirates Stadium, as Arsenal are expected to sign a new striker this summer.
