‘Back to square one’: Arsenal fans react to report Emi Buendia won’t be signed in January
Arsenal fans have been reacting on Twitter as news emerged today that the club could shelve interest in Emi Buendia of Norwich City.
Despite reports claiming the Gunners are interested in the midfielder, claims today that Mikel Arteta is likely to put plans to one side to land Buendia, at least for now anyway.
Norwich are thought to be demanding around £40m for their star man, while Arsenal also have the fall-back option of the impressive Emile Smith-Rowe to help them.

However, it hasn’t stopped Gunners fans having their say on the issue on social media, with a number of Arsenal fans not overly happy at the club baulking at the asking price.
With that, here’s how some Arsenal supporters responded to the news the club won’t be pursuing Emi Buendia.
