£40m player now edges closer to Liverpool move, as club confident of having secured his replacement
TBR Football can exclusively confirm that Liverpool are now a step closer to signing Milos Kerkez in the wake of an update from Bournemouth sources.
The Liverpool hierarchy has wasted no time in bolstering their ranks this summer, with Jeremie Frimpong now at Liverpool and Florian Wirtz closing in on a move to Anfield.
Milos Kerkez could be the next player to join Liverpool, with TBR Football recently confirming Liverpool have agreed a £40million deal with Bournemouth over the Hungarian.
Losing a player of Kerkez’s calibre would obviously leave a big gap in the team, but Bournemouth are now “making a real push” for his replacement.

Bournemouth confident of replacing Milos Kerkez with Adrien Truffert
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey can confirm that Bournemouth sources have said Adrien Truffert is their top target to replace Milos Kerkez.
Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest have both asked about the Rennes left-back, but he is the Cherries’ first-choice player in that position and talks have been held.
“I am told Bournemouth love Truffert and he is their main target at left-back,” Bailey exclusively told TBR Football.
“Bournemouth are making a real push for him now, and safe to say they are confident about getting him.”
What Milos Kerkez and Adrien Truffert could bring to Liverpool and Bournemouth respectively
Kerkez has been one of the Premier League’s best left-backs this season and, as such, he fits the bill for Liverpool.
Indeed, Troy Deeney recently deemed Kerkez “one of the best left-backs in world football already”, such has been his impact.
Andrew Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas both face uncertain futures at Liverpool, and the club could certainly do with an upgrade on both.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth will be getting their hands on a player deemed a “complete full-back” by Football Talent Scout’s Jacek Kulig.
Truffert has been compared to Lucas Digne, who has won 50 caps for France and has made over 260 appearances for Everton and Aston Villa combined.
The 23-year-old Bournemouth target has clocked up 191 appearances for Rennes, registering nine goals and a very impressive 23 assists.
