£39m Tottenham player has already broken Spurs club record just 21 games into the season
There’s certainly no doubt that Ange Postecoglou will be hoping to break plenty of records during his time at Tottenham Hotspur.
Perhaps Postecoglou’s biggest ambition is to correct Spurs’ lack of silverware in the modern era.

And if the manager’s start is anything to judge by, then he could certainly be the right man to do so.
After their short winter break, Tottenham will face Manchester City in the FA Cup – perhaps their last chance to seek a trophy in Postecoglou’s maiden season.
And whilst Spurs chase their lofty ambition, one of their new stalwarts has already broken a club record just 21 games into this new season.
were looking at Pedro Porro’s impact this season, a player now being compared to David Beckham given his whipped delivery.
And as part of the report, it was shared that Porro’s seven assists is already the most for a Tottenham defender in a full Premier League season, just 21 games in.
Porro only trails Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins in the overall standings too, both sitting on eight.
The defender has improved immeasurably under Postecoglou, and should now smash the Tottenham record in the remaining games.
Pedro Porro can break plenty of records at Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou
Perhaps both Manchester City and Pep Guardiola are both now regretting their decision to let the Spanish right-back leave the club.
Porro didn’t make one senior appearance for City despite being under contract for three seasons.

And in fairness, it didn’t always look like his move to Tottenham would work out.
Porro didn’t have the defensive discipline to thrive in an Antonio Conte side, even if he seemed perfectly suited to the wing-back role.
However, under Postecoglou’s stewardship, Porro is arguably the first name on the team sheet – the chief creator.
If Tottenham do go on to break records under Postecoglou, then Porro will play a big part.
It now feels a long time ago that fans were unsure if it would be Emerson Royal or the Spaniard starting at right-back.
Of course, Porro isn’t the only defender that Postecoglou has been incredibly keen to work with this season.
