Report: Leeds monitoring Swansea defender Ben Cabango
Leeds United are monitoring Swansea City youngster Ben Cabango as the Whites look to bolster their defensive ranks this summer, .
Marcelo Bielsa has already been able to add Robin Koch to his ranks this summer. But with Gaetano Berardi injured and Ben White returning to Brighton, it would appear that they are looking to strengthen their ranks further.

The Daily Mail reported earlier this week that they are in talks to sign Dinamo Zagreb’s Josko Gvardiol. And it now appears that they have another name on their wishlist.
, Leeds are interested in Cabango. The 20-year-old only made his senior debut for the Swans this past season.

He ultimately made 23 appearances for Steve Cooper’s side in the Championship. Along the way, he produced an impressive performance against Leeds in the game that will be forever remembered for Pablo Hernandez’s late winner.
TBR View: Cabango may be tough target to prise away for Leeds
It remains to be seen how closely Leeds are monitoring Cabango. But it should come as little surprise to the Whites if Swansea make it extremely difficult for the newly-promoted side.
, Cabango only signed a new contract in March. That is set to keep him at the Liberty Stadium until 2023.
The two clubs were, of course, involved in a transfer that did not get across the line in 2019 when Leeds wanted to sign Dan James.
They will be hoping to have more luck this time around should they pursue a move for Cabango. But they will surely be prepared for the Swans to dig their heels in once again.
