£34m striker who rejected Arsenal move now sends two-word message to Mika Biereth after he leaves

After his prolific exploits out on loan last season, Mika Biereth has decided to leave Arsenal for a permanent move to Austrian side Sturm Graz.

Biereth netted 15 goals in 37 appearances for both Motherwell and Sturm Graz last season, but always seemed unlikely to ha♛ve a significant first team role upon return.

Although he’s a popular figure around north London, the 21-year-old isn’t quite up to the exceptional standards of Mikel Arteta’s first team.

For Biereth, the challenge would have been to better Edꦕdie Nketiah’s contribution to the team, which despite his diminishing role, is still a significant task.

All in all, it’s the right decision for all parties that Biereth departs Arsenal, with the best wishes of all the club’s sup♕porters.

Arsenal will reportedly recoup for the𓂃 Danish striker, a significant profit for striker who was signed frꩲom Fulham in 2021.

Of course, Arsenal’s success with Biereth’s loan moves does beg the question – why haven’t the club sought te🌱mporary moves for more young players?

Joshua Zirkzee sends message to Mika Biereth after rejecting Arsenal for Man United

As stated, Biereth was a popula💜r figure around London Colney, and given how well-travelled the striker is, he seems to have a lot of friends around the football community.

Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzeeಞ seems to be one, a player who also looks set to switch clubsඣ this summer.

Arsenal were linked with a move for Zirkzee in June, who was teammates with Riccardo Calafiori last season.

But on Sunday it became clear that Zirk♍zee would join Man United for £34m after rejecting Arsenal.

That being said, the Dutchman was one of a host of players who shared their best 🅷wish🍌es to Biereth on the striker’s post.

Biereth uploaded a photo of him signing🐭 his Sturm Graz contract with a captio🥀n of: “Happy to be back!”

And alongside Rasmus Hojlund, Zirkzee replied simply say🌳ing: “Love it.”

Arsenal fans will now hope that, although modest, the funds recouped from꧃ Bieret﷽h’s sale can help the club get a deal over the line for Calafiori.

Italian sources are now claiming that Arsen🐠al could seal a deal for Calafiori before the end of Tuesday.

And perhaps that will then lead the club to look for a central midfielder and a forward to complete their wind🧔ow.
