£34m star says he wants to come to England, after claims Tottenham want to sign him

PSV Eindhoven whizkid Noni Madueke wants to return to England to play in the Premier League – and could even make such a move this summer.

The 20-year-old joined the Dutch giants in the summer of 2018 from Tottenham’s academy to pursue senior first team football abroad.

Having broke into PSV’s first team, Madueke’s brave decision to move abroad, similar to Jadon Sancho has paid off.

Last season, the winger scored nine goals and had eight assists to his name from 36 first team matches.

It’s been a frustrating campaign for the youngster this time around, disrupted by injuries, but he is still posting impressive figures.

From 30 matches, Madueke has nine goals and five assists. The winger is averaging a direct goalscoring contribution in every other game which is an impressive return playing for one of the biggest clubs in European football.

Madueke returns to England tonight to face Leicester City in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League quarter-final tie.

Ahead of facing Brendan Rodgers’ side, he has spoken about his future and his plans to conquer the Premier League.

“I definitely want to play there next,” , when asked about a return to England.

“This summer or whenever it is, for now, I am focusing on the rest of the season. It is definitely an ambition of mine.”
