£30m Tottenham and Manchester United target wants European football
Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have both been relatively busy on the transfer front in recent weeks.
Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham have landed Archie Gray, one of the best young footballers in England, in a deal reportedly worth £30million.
Meanwhile, Man United have got two high-profile signings over the line as they look to build on their FA Cup triumph last season.
Erik ten Hag’s Red Devils have signed Netherlands international Joshua Zirkzee and brought Leny Yoro, one of the best young defenders in the world, to Old Trafford.
Now, one player Spurs and Man United are reportedly both monitoring looks set to leave his London club after being overlooked for their pre-season tour.
In a boost for both Spurs and the Red Devils, the Premier League player in question is apparently looking to join a club capable of offering European football.

Tottenham and Manchester United target Trevoh Chalobah wants European football
The player in question is Trevoh Chalobah, whose future at Chelsea appears increasingly uncertain after being snubbed for their pre-season tour of the United States.
Ben Jacobs, writing on , has now provided an in-depth update on the situation involving the reported Spurs target.
The transfer insider says Chelsea’s decision to overlook Chalobah was not taken lightly, but they want to travel with limited numbers to ensure a tight-knit squad.
Nevertheless, the decision shows a ‘clear indication to sell’, with Enzo Maresca wanting to look at Wesley Fofana, Alex Disasi, Tosin Adarabioyo and Josh Acheampong on the tour.
With regards to Chalobah’s future, Jacobs says he’s now ‘likely’ to leave and it’s understood that he is looking for a club that can offer European football.
This is good news for Tottenham and Manchester United, who are both in the Europa League. Indeed, Jacobs says the Red Devils hold a ‘genuine interest’ in the 25-year-old.
Chalobah would be a top signing for Tottenham and Man United
Both Spurs and Man United could do with bolstering their defensive ranks further, and Chalobah would be a good shout for both clubs.
The 6ft 3in ace, who reportedly has a £30million price tag, is talented, yet to hit his prime as a defender, and has extensive Premier League and Champions League experience.
Chalobah also featured prominently in the second half of last season after a long injury layoff, starting many of his club’s Premier League games from March onwards.
This should allay any fears regarding the player’s fitness and it would not be surprising to see Tottenham, Man United or any other suitors intensifying their interest.
