£30m player who wants to join Liverpool has now been the subject of a bid from Everton
Several Liverpool fans have played for Everton over the years.
Conor Coady – who rose through the youth ranks at Liverpool and supports the Reds – is one example, while Leon Osman was also an avid supporter in his childhood.
Conversely, some Liverpool icons have been known to support Everton while growing up, such as Jamie Carragher.
Now, there could be another like Coady and Osman, as David Hancko – a Liverpool fan who dreams of a move to Anfield – is the subject of a bid from Everton.
Everton bid for David Hancko
A story from in Italy now states that Everton have made a €25m (£21m) bid to sign the Slovakia international.
The Italian news outlet believe the offer has been rejected, as Feyenoord hope to receive at least €35m (£30m) for Hancko – who Bayer Leverkusen have also offered £21m to sign him.

Tutto Mercato Web add that Atletico Madrid are also keen, but the Spanish side have only bid €22m (£19m) at this moment in time.
Hancko has impressed for Feyenoord so far this season from the centre of defence, scoring four goals and providing four assists in 41 appearances, with one of his strikes helping the Dutch side fight back from 3-0 down at Manchester City to draw 3-3.
What David Hancko said about Liverpool
It may be tough for Everton to convince the 27-year-old even if a fee can be agreed with Feyenoord, as he simply adores their Merseyside rivals Liverpool.

Hancko – who Chelsea have scouted – told in March 2024: “I probably watch the English Premier League the most, so (moving there) would be my dream. The club? My role model has always been David Beckham, but I was most drawn to Liverpool.
“Since then (the 2005 UEFA Champions League win over AC Milan) I’ve been a Liverpool fan.”
Hancko could be the Jarrad Branthwaite replacement at Everton – amid reports the Toffees are now expecting the England international to leave Goodison Park this summer.
